OUR BACKGROUND
The Yama-Nui story began in 2017 with the establishment of Yama-Nui Recording Studio in a little patch of paradise in the lush hills of Kiels Mountain in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Founded by renowned musicians Paulie B and OJ “Juice” Newcomb, the world-class custom-built four room studio features a hybrid set-up of both true analog and digital technologies and is fully equipped to handle any project from soloists to full live band recordings.
Yama-Nui are music production and sound design professionals, offering services from producing, recording, mixing and mastering through to arranging, compositions, voiceovers and jingles – with a network of professional studio session musicians on hand.
It’s a studio like no other… a true creative hub and private escape with a food forest on site, abundant with plants and nurtured with care and sensitivity. It’s much-loved by the team and the artists that come to record and soak up the Yama-Nui good vibes.
