Lap slide guitarist and blues & roots troubadour Pat Tierney brings an eclectic and captivating musical experience to every show. Taking influence from the likes of Bob Dylan, Ben Harper and JJ Cale, Pat’s music dances between folk, blues, roots, and soul. A songsmith and poet, Pat brings an old-school approach with modern tales of love, loss, hope, and social justice.

After releasing his debut album in 2015, Pat has toured relentlessly across the country and abroad, as well as supporting the likes of The Beautiful Girls, Ash Grunwald and good friends Bobby Alu, and more recently, Canadian blues and folk maestro, Harry Manx.

Pat has also performed at iconic festivals such as Queenscliff Music Festival (VIC), Caloundra Music Festival (QLD), Blues on Broadbeach (QLD) & The West Australian Guitar Festival (WA), as well as a slew of songwriting accolades along the way including three Queensland Music Award finalist nods in 2015, 2023 & 2024.

Pat’s sophomore 2019 album ‘Red Moon’, also received rave reviews with features on ABC radio, Double J and community radio across the country, as well as clocking close to 2 million streams across the digital streaming platforms since its release. The album also featured songs in QLD Road & Safety advertisements, and the track ‘Angels’ featured in the recent motorbike and surf documentary, ‘Death Rides A Horse.’ (Dues Ex Machina)

Pat’s brand new album ‘Lost In The Haze’ recorded with renowned roots maestro and ARIA award-winning PaulieB (George, The Beautiful Girls Bobby Alu) is due for release on October 11th, 2024.
